Been using this mould in a Portuguese Vergurio in 8mm it shoots arouind 2 1/2" at 100m with 14grs of Green Dot (the first load I've tried) sizing to .325" with Carnauba Red lube
anyone have any ideas on some loads to try will it (8mm) respond about the same as a 303 British withn regards to powder selection for cast boolits? thinking of trying H4198 H4895 and Varget really only looking vor a target load to get to 300m for Military rifle comps
the Greendot load seems to hit the 300m gong without any problems I haven't chrony'd the load yet but would guess it would be in the 1400-1500fps region might see if I can get accuracy around 1700-1800 fps
