About 15 years ago I lucked into a Troy Built Horse from a deceased relative. It is overkill for me. My in-town gardens average about 10 x 20 feet. Sometimes I'll put in auxiliary, smaller beds. The thing gets used maybe an hour a year, but dang, it is a monster. You turn it on and it just eats that dirt. Makes gardening a breeze. Now that I'm retiring I may do some tilling for extra $$$.

My father had a big garden and couldn’t eat or give away all the vegetables. He finally he only planted one half, but got the same amount. He cut it in half again the next year (25%) of original and still got the same amount. It’s not the size of the garden that makes the difference. It’s the time and effort you put into it.
