Seems my very used set have give it up. Has enyone got a favorite brand? I mostly need them for powdery snow. Easy on and off would be nice too

Mrs bought me some really cheap ones,and the yare better than any of the high price big name jobbies. they have velcro up the front which helps them to stay up....
one trick a LOT of people never work out,is that on a wet day or any time you are wearing long trousers,wear your gaiters UNDER THE TROUSERS..... that way the water runs down the trousers and stays out side of your boots..if you tuck trousers inside gaiters,the water wicks down fabric and fills your boots.

I used to use them a lot. First ones were canvas and much heavier duty than the synthetic ones I had later. Make sure to get the type that has a steel cable under the sole of the boot.

I use the Swiss Milsurp ones. Super durable but tight fitting depending on what you wear.
