OK, I just got done researching this site for information on light loads for the 45-70, and it's a little bit confusing especially in terms of the fillers. I'll be using the MP 460130 CB. I bought Cream of Wheat today not knowing that using fillers is controversial and using cream of wheat is controversial. But it looks like in the straight walled 45-70 I should not have a problem with CoW as long as I fill it up to the base of the boolit. I saw several people don't like Unique for light loads in the 45-70, which I was going to try originally in addition to Bullseye, so now I think I'll just stick with 8.0 gr. of Bullseye and filled with CoW from the powder just to the base of the boolit. I may still try 10.0 gr. of Unique. Any issues with this? I won't have a chance to track down any egg foam like 45 2.1 suggests before I go to the range.
