    310 Large Handles on 45LC

    Is there any reason I cant load 45LC on the Large Handles from a 310 tool? Chart says small handles, but I hate to buy what I dont need.

    Well Texan, I've loaded 44 Special with a large set. That is a cartridge that is a bit shorter than the 45 Colt which I'm sure you know. Other than that I'm worthless to ya.

    The Frog votes with the Cat... that long a case should work out fine. You're going to want to load with tong tools anyway, so you might as well buy the dies and give it a try.
