    "Hammer Mold"?

I just created a login for the Group Buy section. I wanted to check it out because I’m sure I’ll be using it, this stuff is addicting. I looked around figured most of it out real quick.

But I don’t get the “hammer mold” section, what’s that all about? What’s a “hammer mold”?

    Thanks

Boolits= as God laid it into the soil,,grand old Galena, the Silver Stream graciously hand poured into molds for our consumption.

Bullets= Machine made utilizing Full Length Gas Checks as to provide projectiles for the masses.

    Hammer mould

I received the groups hammer mould today, and spent most of the evening making me 11 new hammers. Actually I replaced the head on my old lead hammer, made 2 new hammers and 8 spare heads for later on. I don't know how you guys are going to do it, but I just used some 1/2" pipe with a cap on the end. Fits the mold real nice. After I cast the head I unscrew the pipe, leaving the cap inside, and make another one. So I have 8 replaceable heads for my 2 hammers. I had a little trouble keeping the lead inside the mould using a clamp on the bottom so I just clamped the head of the mould with a c-clamp. Seemed to make a better seal. So I'll be sending the mould on its way tomorrow. Off to Mr. Brown in Illinois.
