You guys are an interesting lot!
I'm from Bon Air, Virginia, about three rock throws and a skip from the state capitol. I can stand on my side of the James River keeping an eye on those folks conducting the citizen's business.
I'm 15 minutes from the brand spanking new indoor shooting range, 45 minutes from my outdoor range and a like distance from a world class sporting clays range.

Oregun, Near the coast range where hunters disappear never to be found, and bombs from WW2 still can be found in the trees. The place where they used dynamite to dispatch dead whales on the beach.

He's not kidding when he says NICE. Between Winelover & me we have 27 acres of the Arkansas Ozarks.

Winelover, tell your bride once again for me, "thanks for the home cooked Thanksgiving dinner". That was great!

actually two,one on either side of the overpass. [one for hwy 30 and one for hwy 34?]
i guess they put them in to control the rush minute from the mine.
the right hand turn light is permanently green on the second, so not much of a "stop" light.

Hey Kevin. My grandparents lived in Grand Marais and we spent a lot of summers up the Gunflint. Your neck of the woods?

Huntington Beach, California. When they have the surfing competition each summer, you see girls so hot, they'll met the elastic in your undershorts. Wish I wasn't so darned old. But I still plan on retiring a long ways from here.

Well,, lets see. I'm 25 miles nearly due west of the I-5 120 miles north of California and 175 miles south of the Washington border up in the coast range near (within 5 miles) of some other folks who live out here in our valley. I'm located north of the road at the end of a 3/4 mile gravel driveway that snakes up the mountain rising to nearly 2000' ASL when it reaches my place which is in the middle of my quarter/quarter section (40 acres). My shop is down on the next plateau and my firing range is behind my shop. One day I'll fire up the cat and extend my range from 75 yards to 100 or so.
