300 acc noveske barrel and NOE 247

Last night I ordered the 300 acc noveske barrel 16" for my ar from midway, I'll pick it up today. I later found out it has an " improved polygonal rifling 1-7 " twist ".
Should I worry about using cast through it. (NOE 311247). I still have time to change my mind and order a wilson combat 1-7 or some other good brand with button rifling.
I'm worried I screwed up the barrel is not cheap.

you can shoot lead in a polygonal bbl but there is a lot of things to consider when doing so.
if it were my decision i would get the cut rifling..
if i were going subsonic it would be a faster twist.
if it were going to be strictly cast [and it would] i'd look for a 9 or 10 twist and go for about 18-1900 fps.
if it was gonna be general use i'd go for the 9 twist.

a 1-7" twist is as fast as they make. My son and I have 2 1-8" barrels and they stabilize the 247gr boolits perfectly at subsonic speeds. I don't see the need for a 1-7" as it might limit you on the upper end if using cast.
