    8mm Karabiner

My mold arrived this afternoon so I cleaned the oil off, fired up the pot and started casting. Much to my surprise, this is one of the easiest casting molds I've ever used. The boolits just fall out whenever opened and another surprise was they are to original spec .324" nose, .329" across the driving bands, and a .230" meplat, IIRC. Lee done good on this one!

I've got one of those, I think you'll like it. It rings gongs with authority.

No doubt it will ring gongs but, my intention is to ring some whitetails come season. Until then, I have time to work up some loads. I'm thinking maybe some 4895 to start and also MR-3100 if it will burn clean without running the velocity too high.

I load this boolit with 35gr of H4895 and get around 1850fps.

Nope, those nose and band dimensions are not the original specifications.............. I do hope it works for you though.

OK, my remember is in need of recalibration. What were the original specs? Thanks
