    Talking 7mm Bore rider / Hunter re-run

I just got done casting 150+ rounds from this mold, and loaded 40 rounds to go to the range tomorrow.
I have to say, the boolits fell out of the mold, perfectly round, exactly on the sizes stated on the drawings. Hornady gas checks fit perfectly. Sized to .285 and seated with the gas check at the base of the cartridge neck, it left just the teeniest little mark from the rifling on the bore rider portion and the boollit didnt move on lock up in my 7mm-08 Handi Rifle.
It appears that Blammer and NOE have made the perfect boolit for my Handi.
Range report coming as soon as the monsoon is over

Bravo to Blammer and Swede for a job well done!

Well, the good news, they fly straight and hit true.
The bad news is in the Handi Rifle they dont pattern at 100 yards as good as a cheap shotgun.
I'm sure it has something to do with the shallow lands in the Handi's, but I'm gonna try some other various powders and loads and see what happens. Might have to try them in my 280 Rem as well

What powders are you folks using? I see Reloader 7, SR 4759, & 4895 listed on cast pics.

I shot 50 out of a 7mm Mauser with an adams and bennet barrel (everyone I know says they are garbage barrels) and held a 2 inch group at 100. Excellent for my old eyes and shakey hands.

Sized to .285 lubed with Blue Angel-No leading
I had to borrow a sizer die to seat the gas checks, My bore slugged at .285 so I need to devise a way to seat the checks without
sizing the boolit because it dropped at .287. This may cure my erratic groups

Did some casting today with my 5cavity. Once I got the tempo down for the mold the bullets were dropping with ease. I will get them sized and test loaded up for next week.
They look like a perfect fit for my BR.

Thanks again to Blammer and NOE for another great mold.

Loaded up and headed to the range.

This boolit shoots great in my BR. Shot 3 different loads and all three were MOA accurate with the middle load having a slight edge. All three loads were retested and resulted in the same groupings.

    Love this boolit.

    "Bore slugged @.285 ??
What does the throat slug at ??
"BUCKSHOT" made me a .2865 H&I die,I use it to crimp the GC & lube, then use "push through" dies for final sizing depending on the throat Dia. of the intended weapon.
Depending on your alloy the GC's should be a snap on if started on straight by hand.
The little GC shank beveling tool by NOE does wonders in getting them started on straight and with a little hand pressure they should snap on, for the harder ones I use a Lee hand press and a NOE GC seater.

Today, I finally got around to trying this boolit in my 280 Remington built on a Mauser 98.
Pictures soon enough, but for the first 2 loads pulled outta you know where,
1.75" groups @100 yards pretty cool
