I have been told I don't need anymore but most people don't understand the difference between need and want.
They try telling me that I'm crazy but we know better.

Not sure what a lifetime supply would be. I have at my last calculation 1400 pounds +-, Will that last the rest of my life? I will still pursue WW and other sources just because, believe it or not I enjoy cleaning it up and melting it. It is a good feeling making something useful from someone's trash. Whatever I have left when I die my son will have to cast and shoot.

I've been getting wheel weights for free for a few years now and got used to that fast. That arrangement just stopped and I'm pretty worried. I can't bring myself to count, but I probably have about 3 or 4 hundred pounds out there. Not nearly enough. I'm working on a "big" buy of plumbing lead, but not sure yet exactly how much or the cost. I need to get looking....

I'm around 2500 lbs. I'm shooting for around 10k. But I have other motives than casting for myself. To this point it is all range scrap, but it looks like I have found an unlimited supply of iso lead. I have 2 young boys that I expect will shoot bullseye with me, so who knows how much we'll actually use.

I don't really have a clue how much is a lifetime supply. I have enough for my current output for a few years, but will I shoot more or less? I just try to get as much as I can while I can for as cheap as I can.

I'm always on the look out for lead I really don't have enough I started buying it from a scrap yard and then all of a sudden they wouldn't sell to the public any more. So now I look at garage sales thrift stores and every where for the stuff. Usually in the form of leaded glass windows/ ornaments or pipe. Wheel weights are becoming scarce as hens teeth and from what I hear wheel weights are all going to be steel in a couple of years. I still buy it once in a while at the local black powder shop bu it is expensive 26 1/2 lbs for $39.95. That was the last lead that I bought. Hoard on

While i have a decent little stash, I hope it's not a lifetime supply. If it is, I'll be saing so long much sooner than I'd like.

If your garage floor isn't cracking from the sheer weight of Lead then you don't have enough

Unless I die in a year, nope. Got late start (early as I'm only 21... Should have started earlier but no one around to show me the ropes. Had to learn by reading and buying my own stuff) and now I'm paying for it. Ah well...
