    Ejector for RC's

Well my intention in posting this poll was to see how many folks who swage use older Rockchuckers and offer a different ejector. My plans have changed and now I am sharing my design.
I have a couple video's if there is some interest in seeing it work.

I use the Lee Classic Cast with Inline Fabricators handle for more leverage. I like it as it is fairly inexpensive will take 1 1/4 or 7/8. I also use the quick change adapter made by Hornady for my 7/8" dies so it is also make it quick to change for a single stage press.

    Redding T-7 turret

T-7 is fine for low pressure stuff.

A few changes since the above picture. Longer rod on top and the obvious black paint.

    Hey that looks good!
Did you use a mill for the slot?

Did I see lead squirt out of the swage die?

No mill, just garage tools and yes that was lead squirting out of AL Floyd's core swage die. Easy to change dies and allows plenty of room around the die and punch for big hands.

    Thanks for the complement.

I am not swaging yet but just was handed a Herter's Super Bullet Maker and some related dies and die parts. I know very little about all this stuff and gave up on ever getting into swaging due to the high initial costs years ago. Became a confirmed caster and was just slap happy to be one!

Now, those old swager feelings are being aroused .........

My friend that owns this equipment (he just bought a deceased friend's load room and knows nothing about swaging at all) is bringing a big box of goodies this weekend for me to paw through to look for more related stuff .....

    ........... a tinkerer's dream come true!! ....... or a "bridge too far"???

That is the question .......... LOL!

Anybody else use a Redding Ultra Mag?

I bought one years ago, figuring I wouldn't live long enough to ever receive a Corbin press.

Although I've never use the Redding for swaging, it's handled sizing and loading every large cartridge I shoot.

I use Richard's Walnut Hill press. I am getting back into swaging after a 20 year break and still waiting for my 308 dies.

I hope this is a mild exaggeration

But I'd certainly look at a few of the board members here for some 308 dies. They've posted some nice results.
