All .41Mag, rifle and pistols. I've got two group-buy 6-holers in the 410640 and full wadcutter styles plus a Lyman 41028 and the RCBS SWC, would like a lighter option and the chance to make them HPs is just a bonus.

I'm going to have to drop out of this and all other group buys I'm in right now due to financial hardship. Hopefully I can get caught up before this one gets cut.

This mold is offered with small, large, penta point, and blank pins (which makes a solid boolit).

Let me know which specific ones you want.
    Small and penta pins please.

Thats possible if MiHec will cut you one at that diameter. The BRP version casts out at 0.412" in my alloy and does quite well in the Marlin lever actions your inquiring about.

Bob, I have tried 412 and it's a no-go without special load handling. 413 works at all speeds with no qualms entirely in my Davidson's Marlin (octagon barrel version, smooth wood). However, I have been told by someone at Marlin that they have used the same button for all their barrels. Maybe so, but I doubt it. I can believe that for their button design, though. My lands are 0.003 high, which sorta' indicates a new button? ... felix

I lube in an oversize die loading the HP version. Alloy was 50% WW/ 50% Pb water dropped with Rex-2 as the powder (pushed fairly warmly). No trouble getting it bumped a little. Accuracy with this light boolit was very poor with the traditional powders at 0.412" in rifles but the Rex-2 liked it reasonbly well.

I have had the same results, Bob, with several powders in the same range as Rex-2 using 412s. Works very well. However, I am getting more and more finicky as age progresses. My "spearminten' " days are about over as a result. Becoming a cantankerous old fart. ... felix

Thanks, my friend, and hopefully he has written the program to accept only a diameter change while commensurating the other dimensions to go along with that change. The program will be truly comprehensive if so and would be top notch professional programming. ... felix

Sign me up, Bowfin! All pins. Have no idea which will shoot mo'betta' in pistol or rifle. Intend to find out. CANNOT be used in rifle at less than 0.413 WW diameter. I am just too lazy to beagle the mold, most especially with hollow pointing pins. ... felix

Well Howdy! Sign me up for a two holer w/one set of blank pins and one of penta pins. This looks like a good as any first time group buy to get me started. We have four (4) .41 mags. Two Marlin rifles and two Mod 57 Smiths. One is my old 6" duty gun (which my Daughter has taken over and advised me not to look for it!) and the other is a 4" Mod 57 that they still let ME play with!

    skdunlapatlivedotcom

will we get a pm or email notice when this mold needs to be paid?
I've been in on several buys and didn't realize it was time to pay and got dropped off the list.
