Question Full length size die problem????

I think I may have a problem with the full length size die for my 7.5x54 MAS.
It dosen't look like it's sizing the full length of the neck.
The shell holder is touching the bottom of the die.
It seems like it should size the whole neck, not only 3/4 of it.
I'm sure my other dies size the whole neck.
It chambers fine. It just looks strange.
    These are Lee dies.

Looks like it is a die problem I would send them back with a note explaining your setup a sample case.

Or that little short shoulder helps center the loaded round in the chamber of your gun, that
has to help accuracy a little. I neck size all my rifle rounds for that very thing.

Sent a email, with picture, to Lee.
Seems to me the die was cut wrong. To deep.
I could fix it by cutting in the lathe, but I'll wait to hear from Lee.

If the die is bumping the shoulder back the proper amount to allow it to chamber cutting the die down will not be a good fix as it will bump the shoulder back too far.

The length of unsized neck does seem excessive. You are doing the right thing by contacting Lee.

    Smile Two replies from Lee

First one seem like a reasonable question.

"Each chamber is not exactly the same. Are you having a problem
    chambering these cases?
    Thanks,"
    Sent reply:
    "No problem chambering."

Second reply seemed to me the person didn't know what they were talking about.

" If there is a bulge in the case neck .080" above the shoulder, it sounds
like the case may be too short, or the shoulder is in the wrong
position. Compare it to some fired empty cases. They will mimic the
    shape of your Rifle chamber."

Replied that it was a fired case, and case length s correct.

From the picture it seem to obvious that it was a fired case.
How would a "case maybe too short" cause the die to size only part of the neck???

So far Lee tech has been no help.
