Just got a 2 cavity of this design this afternoon and cleaned and cast a few. I'll post results once I have them but could be a bit as deer season is approaching and my camper needs some work yet. I have WC 844, IMR 3031, IMR 4895, Benchmark, IMR 4227, and Bullseye for on hand powders. Any suggestions?
Is this a......what day is this??

The military uses WCC-846 for the 75gr and heavier bullets in the .223. I would think 20gr a safe place to start tinkering...

+1 on using 20 grains as a starting point for WC844 or WC846. These powders might be a little fast for Cast Velocities, so to avoid groups opening up, do not try to replicate jacketed performance with these powders.

The military M855 bullet (Jacketed) uses a WC844 powder charge of 26.1 grains.
