The #1441 has a nose to crimp groove length of .400". I'm not sure what happened to the cutter for the #1430 so I'm going to have to try and figure out what happened to it and I'll get you that dimension when I find it.

Can you tell me the difference between the S842 and the 842? Is the S842 cut to smaller diameter because of linotype? Or, are there differences in the dimensions?

I'll be casting with WW + 1% tin. Will that cast close to 185gr?

The #842 casts 185 gr. in lino and the #S842 casts 160 gr. in lino. They are cut using the same cutter, just to different lengths. The catalog incorrectly lists #842 as being 185 gr. in wheel weight. I was unaware of the typo in it until now. Thank you for pointing it out.

185 gr. lino is approximately 198 gr. in wheel weight and 160 gr. in lino is approximately 171 gr. in wheel weight.
