    Lazer bore sighter?

I am thinking about buying one!
Have a BSA columator type that works great for scopes but am starting to shoot several old milsurps.
Have heard all kinds of don'ts about using one but nothing positive.
Can they be used in daylight (ie: at the range to set sights say for 100 yards? 200 yards?)
Don't mind buying one but don't want to waste the money if it will not work for me.

I have only been around one. It was bought at Wal-mart to sight in a deer rifle. Marlin 336 in .35 Remington. That one could not be used in daylight at 50 yards. After that I never gave them much thought. There may be more usable brands on the market but the one I was around was useless to me.
I would be cautious before I bought.

I use a Laserlite, just get some white reflective tape for daytime sighting.
I use mine all the time.

I use one, it will not work outdoors, but using it indoors, I am able to set up my windage, and I have a figurine on a bookcase that I can set my open sights for 200 yards. It has saved me a lot on ammo and saved my shoulder.

DONT get a cheap one they are not concentric and are just about worthless. I got a set cheap and if I center the units in the lathe at 36" they are out by over an inch.
