WTB 357 Magnum or 44 Magnum Handi-Rifle Barrel

Folks,

Next project - I am looking for a used 357 Magnum or 44 Magnum Handi-Rifle barrel. NEF charges $93 for new for either and I am willing to talk to anyone who wants to dispose of the barrel that is on their hands.

I woul rather help a fellow Cast Boolits member than a corporation but I will go that route if I have to.

I'm looking to build a walk-about single shot rifle on a SB1 frame that I have on the bookshelf here so I'm limited to 357 Mag or a 44 Mag barrel to convert the frame to a centerfire rifle. I'm already setup to reload and cast for 357 MAG/38 Special so that is my preferred barrel choice though if a 44 Mag barrel came available I would not hesitate to purchase another set of dies, a mold and brass,

So if anyone has one, let's make a deal!!!!

I called NEF yesterday for a barrel quote and its now $140 for the rebarrel so I'm definitely looking for a used sale from a fellow shooter versus going to the factory at this point.

Bruce, you are lucky to even be able to buy barrels from NEF.

to get one fitted up here would run almost $400!!!!

well, its now like #3 on the project list so I have to account for the other projects first.
