Illinois had a late deer season (antlerless only) the three days before and New Years day. The thread title boolit was used. It was cast out of 50/50 Pb / WW, water dropped and sized 0.411". The shot was taken from a 41 Mag Ruger Blackhawk at about 65 yards at a yearling. The boolits entrance hole (on the rib cage) measured an inch across showing the boolit was expanding going in. The exit was a clean 41 caliber hole showing the nose had blown off with just the lower half exiting. The deer moved about 5 feet from where it was shot. Upon recoil recovery the deer was down and wasn't moving. Typical performance from soft deep hollow points out of handguns..................
