old thread, but i'm going to try some 311008s in 7.62x39 mini 1500. question for Larry G. on the mouse fart loads, do you drill out the flash holes to reduce shoulder setback or not?
    thanks Larry.

Ed Harris did a write up quite a while back addressing the reloading of military calibers of varying load data including 7.62x39. Very good information.

I shot 50 shots out of my Mini Mk X of the 2.7 gr Bullseye/90 SWC once with the same case (IMI case with WLR primers) and didn't get any shoulder set back. That's not to say it wouldn't happen with other brands of cases. Suggest trying some with standard flash holes to see if any shoulder set back occurs. The flash holes can always be drilled out if necessary.
