    Guess the problem...

So, anyone care to guess what happened here?

I'll let this run for a day before revealing what actually happened.

Shell was loaded in a section of 3/4" steel pipe and hit with a BB from a BB gun? Looks just like the one I did that with when I was about 15.

Mec 9000 or super sizer and you sized the rim off

I have done the same several times when the case didn't drop down properly

Everyone who said resizing accident is correct; I didn't notice until I had finished loading the round.

I had intended to keep it around as a novelty but this round somehow found it's way into my ammo supply and eventually my gun. The round went off without incident and luckily, it was jammed in the chamber; if it went in any further, I would been able to chamber another round behind it...

What confuses me is why the inner primer cup backed out, my loads were definitely within safe pressures. I can certainly understand the primer itself backing out due to the headspacing but the primer cup should not be doing that...

I've certainly learned my lesson; keep novelty/damaged rounds far away from the loading bench...
