Well, I need a little help on this project

My first need is for the little pin that holds the front blade in place on a Japanese Winchester 1895 in .405 Winchester. I have the blade sight, just no pin to keep it in place. Any pointing in the right direction would be much appreciated.

    Yours,

Cutting to length the shank off an old drill bit the correct size works, or most good gunsmiths have all kinds of pins in stock.
In a Pinch , if nothing else use a roll pin available at most larger auto and hardware stores.
