the sprue plate design works slick as snot
can actually control, watch the second cav fill while filling the first one
    very nice
I know that MP does something similar BUT this is a new design in that
kinda a trough, canal,or what ever you would like to call it
but it does work and work well

Nice looking mould as always from Tom!
Not sure that mill out between the sprue holes would work for my technique however.
I just got the swirl cast technique down, which really helped with weight consistency, etc.
Just not sure that plate would work so well.

W.E., you need to retake those pics, add some pink lacy items and a red rose.

After having used mine the jury is still out on the new design, but so far it isn't completely bad. I am sure that some more learning is required on my part since I am still new to casting and what not.

I just received three custom molds and they got here extremely fast! They are all beautiful. I am impressed with the service and the quality. Extremely fast is an understatement, trust me!!!
We are truly blessed with all the talented mold makers that exist. Accurate has made it onto my personal short list. This is a quality company producing a quality product.

I love the looks of Tom's Brass molds. I keep ckecking his web site hoping that he has started to produce pointed and semi-pointed bullet molds. I know I can't be the only one that is waiting, but I'll keep checking, maybe someday.

    aCCURATE MOLD

Got my 30 caliber 3 cavity last week. Haven't casted with it . I'm impressed at the thick sprue plate. It is a work of art that's for sure.

Thanks White Eagle. Got that mold saved to my computer.
I like the looks of that 400gr

480 is my favorite caliber to shoot. Always looking to try new molds in that caliber.

I understand that needing a meplat of some size (I forget what it is) is a requirement for lathe boring moulds, or so say Accurate, and Mountain molds. So I was wondering how Lee who claims their moulds are lathe bored, not cherry cut, makes their pointed and round nose boolit moulds? Assuming for the moment that Lee uses some kind of very expensive lathe that's out of reach of the smaller custom mould makers, I was thinking of something else. Would it be possible for someone like Accurate to make their moulds the way they've been doing them, then add an operation that would use a drill with a pre-formed shape to go in and finish cutting the nose, either on a round nose design, or a pointed design? I don't know if Tom is using a turret lathe when he makes the moulds or not, but if he is, I would think that adding a drill cut with the shape of the nose (a semi-cherry?) into one of the stations on the turret wouldn't be that difficult. And I'm sure that to a person that wants a particular design, if being able to get it, but with say a $25.00 premium added to the cost of the mould, was possible, I doubt the extra fee would stop them from getting it.
