    Noe 230gr pictures

Here are some pictures of what i casted with my 3 new NOE 230 gr rn bb .454 molds. There would have been more but my pot went out. There are now about 9,000 bullets. The red cans are 43lb 10 oz and the blue ones are 34 lb 8 oz.

My casting area ain't pretty but it works.

With the 3 5 cav molds i was castin at a rate of 1500-1800 per hr. I was timing 6 cast per min. that is 1800 per hr. I stoped every 30 min to pour my drop box in to a can. If my magma pot had not went out there would have been more by now. I have got to get the grand sons over to lube now. These 3 NOE molds have to bee the best and easyest mold to cast with. I may get some one to video me casting when i get the pot fixed.

I shoot 10-15,000 rds of different cal. I try to keep some extra casted bullets put away for when you can not get lead to make them with. This pile came from 3 new run away molds. I sat there and the lead keep flowing out of the pot so i had to keep filling the molds. Then i had to empty them, but then i had to fill them again. You know it is like reloading. If your brass is loaded you have to shoot them and if your brass is empty you have to reload them. I had to stop casting, my pot broke. Like a 50cal when it runs away you have to brake the belt.

I notice you use the ingot molds made by jawjawboy. They are the VERY best ever ! I own ten myself ! Great guy ! May he RIP!

Your casting bench looks good to me ! In fact it looks just like mine except yours is MUCH neater !

Yes GLL the ingot molds are from jawjawboy. i have 8. I also have 6 i had made about 10yrs ago. I like jawjawboy's much better. Sory to hear he passed.
I top of the casting beanch is 1/2" thick flomica from a bowling aley floor. they were 44' x 12' . I got 4 sheets. Nope no pan lubeing. Just star with feeder and heater. I got my new heatine elements ordered today from magma. I hope that is the fix for my pot.

If I drank that much coffee, I could probably cast that fast, too...

I do not drink coffe. Now there are 3 of those cans empty because i have lubed them. That can on the floor has 2" of montype in it. I use it to rest my foot on, then i switch and pou the other foot on the box on the left. I put a folded up towel on a stool to keep my but from getting sore. The lead splater on the wall is from a oh-s--t, the ingot was damp.
