Only two, a 45/70 Browning BPCR and an Omark 44 Long Range Target bolt rifle in 308W. I also have a pair of M17s which were single shot target rifles, but I'm converting them back to repeaters. Mick.

Do air rifles count, I have a couple of those

Is this a new page? I can't say I noticed it before.

Thanks No. 1. It doesn't hold a candle to BAW collection though. Took several years to get those. I wish I had the #3 45-70 back now. I tend to go throught the safe every couple years and cull the ones I don't shoot anymore and get something I'm lusting for.
Right now my eyes are getting so bad that I'm lusting after a highwall with a Malcom style scope and single set trigger in a .40 cal. I don't particularly like the idea of going to a scope but I'm getting tired of silhouetts fuzzing out on me before I can break the shot. Funny how when I was young and could see I shot scopes on everything and now I'm old and can't see worth a damn I love iron sights. Go figure.

Have you shot yours yet ? I don't have the darn mount for it so far . But with that light barrel I'm thinking its gonna thump me pretty good

Took about two months to get the correct forend for it after I got the barrel. I haven't shot the ML barrel either yet . Matter of fact just assembled it about 3 weeks ago . My dealer has some guy in MN that he sends Encores to for trigger jobs and I sent this one as well .

Came across this Wickliffe 30-06 looking for a birthday present for Mrs. Newtire. She still got some nice pearl earrings.

    Encore Barrels

    PPpastordon,
Nice to be talking to you, all my encore and tender barrels are16 1/2 to 18 inches. I buy my barrels that length to mainly shoot as a pistol but with that length I can shoot them as rifle barrels also. To be honest I have shot them as pistol length barrels only so far and probably will as long as I own them. Hope this answers your question.

    Good Shootin

Mine is one of the first ones that were out in 12 gauge, back when the custom shop was the only one doing them in 12. My wife got it for me as a Christmas gift. I shoot it a couple times a year. It likes the Brennke KO sabots, and is more accurate than I can shoot.

Recoil is stout, but as you know, you never feel recoil shooting at game.

The thing I like about the Encore is you can get such a sweet trigger. Did mine with the Bellm CD. Wish someone could come up with an attractive stock configuration for these things.
