    stupid question about scopes

Is it possible to rotate a scope 90 degrees CCW, so that the windage adjustment becomes the elevation adjustment? The idea being that the scope can be mounted closer to the action while still allowing full use of stripper clips. When the scope is in the normal position, the windage knob interfers with the ammo on the clip.
Some where between here and there.....

YUP!! You just have to think a little harder when you make adjustments!! I have done it several times to help with clearance issues.

    Yup,

Up will now move you left, down will move right. Right will move up, and left will move down. I have done it before.

    Good luck,
    Tim
