    9mm load data ?

Hey fellas. I was wondering if anyone can find any published load data on the Lyman 356402 TC mold with unique, 2400, or IMR4198. I cant find any for that mold with these powders. COL and all plz. Thx for the answers in advance!

The last two powders you list are to slow for general 9mm use.
Unique has been loaded for years under that bullet at 5.0 grains.
While the new books leave out Unique under the 356302 my old Lyman 45th from the 1970's list a start of 4.4 grains and a max of 6.0gr for 1243 fps. Six grains of Unique would be a bunch of powder. Book used Remington cases and standard 1 1/2 Rem primers. 5.0 grains is enough. Some of the loads in the old books were very hot. The new Lyman books list 5.0 grains of Unique as max under the round nosed 356242.

Case capacity can vary a lot in 9mm brands. Some of the European stuff like Gieco can be way short and seriously run up the pressure. Whenever I run across European head stamps I toss them in a separate pale. If you get a case that fills to a higher level check it out. 5.0gr of Unique is probably going to be slightly compressed already. WW cases may hold more than fed, rem or speer. I separate all of them before or after loading.

In the 3rd edition Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook, they list 4.3 grns Unique @21,000 psi for 940 Fps and 5.3 @31000 psi for 1135 fps. I have used 4.7 grns with good results in mixed cases.
