It is great stuff. It is one of those products that does what is claimed it will do better than any other product in it's class, and at a modest price to boot. Can't imagine casting w/o it anymore.

Modest price? You mean you can buy it all by itself? I just bought a small bottle of it for around $85, but got a real nice NOE mould for free with the purchase. Modest price? I'd say it was a steal.

Yeah, I buy all my bullplate that way, got a good stash of maybe 10, 11 bottles by now. Never have opened them bought two from the Bullshop a few years ago, and still working on the first bottle.

We pretty consistently try to tell people about Bull Plate Lube, and I think about 50% or
more think it is all BS and hype and never try it out. Their loss.

Bullplate is one of those things that you really just don't know what you are missing until you try it, and then you wonder how you ever got by without it. I traded The Bullshop some raw wheelweights for 10 bottles of it just so I would never run out. I may have overdone it as I have only used 2 bottles of it in the last4 years and I cast a few thousand bullets a week. It really does go a long way. If you haven't bought any yet you should invest the 3 or so dollars on it. At least that way you can say you tired it and don't like it, except you won't say that after using it!

From the reloading store at the local range. I bought one to try and really liked it so I went back and bought them out. I put several different things besides Bullplate in them and then used the few I had left as little tokens of "thanks" for a few people.

Should you find yourself one do yourself a favor and DO NOT put bore cleaner in these. Bore cleaner does exactly as promised, disolves brass. Don't ask how I know.

That's easy, because I was foolish enough to try it, all the trials, mistakes, ah sh*t's, try something else. 30 years of that and there are a lot of things that I know that don't work. Lot's of things that I can advise not to do like lino on steel targets, been there, done that . . . Don't work too good. Or bore cleaner in a brass container, not too smart but I can tell you from experience, not a good idea.

Besides, that's only the second or third time in the last several weeks that I've said that.

O well the search continues. One of these days I will find them.
The solvent wash bottles from lab supply places works really well for bore cleaner.

After reading how many folks have spilled their Bull Plate lube. I took a Forstner bit about the same size as the bottle, drilled a hole half way thru a 2x4 about 6 inches long and glued it into the hole. Now if I need some I use a Q-tip and i don't get any spills. ( Now watch I'll knock over the bloody 2x4 and spill the whole thing ) !!!
