I'm in the process of putting mine back together. I moved it all to SC in January because I took a new job over there. Ran into the inability to sell my house, grass not greener in the new gig and a bad case of homesick so we have moved back (I start a new job Monday).

I'm not 100% back like I want but I'm real close.

VERY nice..! I have thought about building a room in my garage, 10X16 and doing the same thing you did. Good work...!

Guess I should go ahead and show what I have so far… I really NEED a bigger area, I had some not even set up due to lack of room…

    I have the following:
    RCBS Pro 2000
Hornady LnL AP /Case Feeder/ Bullet Feeder (Bullet feeder not installed yet due to space issues)
Two Hornady LnL Single Stage presses (Not set up at this time)
Hornady 366 Gas Assist in 12ga (Not set up due to space issues)
    MEC 600Jr - 12 ga
    MEC 9000GN – 12ga
    Dillon RL550B /Case Feeder
Forster Co-Ax (Not set up due to space issues)
MEC 9000GN – 20ga (Not set up due to space issues)
MEC 600 Jr – 16ga (Not set up due to space issues)

So as you can see I NEED to build the bigger room and get this done right! I got stuff still in unopened boxes, just not enough room where I have it all now..

I suffer from too many hobbies, too little space and even less free time. A few years back I figured if I semi-organized my stuff I'd get more done. At the time I dedicated a 4' wide swath of my work bench and come up with this arrangement.

I'd love to have a space twice as wide and a pair of dillon 550's and a star lube sizer, but this suffices for now. Spendng a little bit of time to organize your stuff, and your flow is a big time saver, even with a modest area to set up your tools.

HI Scott, nice pics, looks like a good setup. Of course you are doing your casting outdoors? I'll only mention this as I have a blood lead level of 20mg/dlr which is way too high. I had it tested a couple of years ago and it was 17. Dr. gave me some suggestions, and the OSHA people called to see if it was work related. I told them to mind there own biz it was sport and none' yer where and when or what.
However the latest test came back 20. You see i moved the casting pot inside my garage; originally thinking I would leave both the doors open. Anyway; cast outdoors and get a Niosh 95 heavy metal paper masks. Also wash and change clothes a lot; are the lessons I learned or should I say are learning. It will be a year until I cast again. And only then if the level is 10 or below.

    keep your powder dry,

    Max

max it - thanks for the friendly reminder as to the hazards of lead casting and the importance of being vigilent. It's an easy thing to forget. Good luck with your next check up.

There are very few who use that press that don't like it.

Here's my version of a classic heavy duty design. My original bench is a student desk with 3/4" plywood added to the top. My Co-Ax still usually resides there, but sometimes gets used on the big bench.

i hope you are doing the actual casting outdoors??
