    leRat,

I just set my scale aside......the ones I cast in my Lyman 410655 are just shy of 430 grains....seems a bit high, hmmmmmm

....the "copper cruisers" at 404 grains

Sure do,my handle on an auction site of which I will not speak is "40flint".
I have a 6 cavity .395" Jeff Tanner round ball mould,it works great, and I can't keep up the shooting enough to catch the casting aspect of it!LOL!!!

I recommend Jeff Tanner, moulds.I recieved mine within 30 days on all of them, single cavities are even quicker.
The cavities are consistent and well done, and NO excess weight to bog you down.that could be good OR bad, depending on the temperature being used...

I also shoot a .40 caliber flinter. .395 round ball in front of 65 grains of 3F Goex, 10 thou's patch lubed with bears oil. Extremely accurate out to 70 yards which is where the rifle is zero'd.
