Is this the mini Mauser action that comes in 223 and 7.62x39?(It's late and the brain isn't working up to speed)
Seems like I paid about $450 for one in 223 last fall. It shoots great with factory ammo(too busy to load yet) I really like the single set trigger. Just push it forward to set for a light pull or just leave it alone and have a regular trigger. Mine came with scope rings and I put a 6x24 something on it.

I like it enough that I might consider selling some of my mausers and get the CZ 550 in a replacement caliber. The damn safe is too over crowded anyway.

Around here they're going for $460-500 range depending on the store. They've come up a bit since I got my Lux in .22 Hornet for $300 several years ago. I have the American version in .223. Both are sweet shooters and with the .223 I fired my first 5 shot sub 1" group at 200 yards. I'm temped to get another CZ in 7.62x30 and .308. Hated the factory rings though. They were too soft steel and replaced then with Warne and am much happier.

That is about the average price on the used ones around here also. I am pretty much set on my next 22RF being the CZ with the SS trigger. I would real like a 527 Varmint, but have enough 223's now.

I don't believe the rimfire models come with a set trigger. My 452 .22 Mag. CZ doesn't have one but that may have changed recently. Gander Mtn. had CZs for about $50 more than the smaller local stores when I went by today.

I think the M-453's have the SS trigger. If I were to get a Hornet, the M-527 would be the one.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.
