    Moving Targets

Does anyone have a decent design for a moving target that can simulate running game? Ideally it would be relatively inexpensive.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

At one point in time we used to shoot at a gravel pit - took an old tire put cardboard inside with an 8" paper plate in the middle - one person would start the tire rolling down hill (with a little bounce) and it gathers speed and bounce as it rolls into the shooting lane, depending upon the surface it can make some quite challenging moves as it speeds down the hill.

    - I took a lot fewer running shots after we practiced on that

    - the nice part doesn't cost much
    - bad part tires are heavy and you have to trek it back up the hill.
