    BFR 45-70 for Silhouette Matches

I recently got this BFR 45-70 10" revolver and found it so accurate I went and put an optical sight on it. The weight of the revolver with the factoru iron sights is
4 lb. 11.2 oz. The weight with the Match Dot is 5 lb. 6 oz.

Is this combination with the Match Dot sight suitable and legal for any silhouette competitions?

    Thanks,

    John

Yes it fits in IHMSA's Unlimited Anysight category. The weight limit is 6lbs with sighting device unloaded. Go to the IHMSA Forum for more information.
