I've carried and carved with a Uncle Henry #897 UH (I think) for nearly 30 years. That is I have always had at least one in my pocket at all times. I bet I've lost 8-10 over the years. Sad that I wont be able to replace the current one with one of the same quality. The foreign made with the Uncle Henry name are trash.

I had been carying a Spyderco Native for about ten years untill a couple of months ago... I wished I knew what I've done with it. It's got to be around here somewhere... I love that knife. Owl Head three blade folder for now.

Day to day I carry a small Gerber (2" blade) in my pocket for mundane chores. During the hunting season I carry a larger Gerber.

I have carried the Swiss Champion for years in my left front pocket. I've use just about everything on it at least once a year. It even has a little ball point pen in it. It is heavy, but the thing gives a sense of confidence to handle many things.

I have a leatherman Kick or Wave with me everyday. The Kick if it is work and the wave if it is play. I also have a mini leatherman at work and the range for the small screwdriver blade. Hunting finds me with a Cold Steel folding Tanto 3 5/8" or so AIRC.

Case Mako Lock-back with belt sheath. Knife is worth every penny! Working on my third leather belt sheath. Thinking about getting a custom heavy duty sheath made.

Small Swiss Army knife. I buy them for a $1.00 from a guy that gets knives from the Govt. that were confiscated at airports. He has all differant kinds of knives and I'm still hoping to find the Old Timer they got from me.

I consider a pocket knife and a bic lighter minimum survivel equipment. Don't leave home without them.

Case full size trapper for many years, but a Schatt & Morgan stockman lately, decided it wasn't doing me any good NIB, I knew I wasn't going to sell it. I just can't get used to the one blade modern type knives, old fashioned I guess. Oh, and it's got to be carbon steel, no stainless for me.

If at home a leatherman wave, boker auto, remington trapper, boker+, and a small 2 blade rough rider. If I leave my home I add a Magnum Cold Steel Tanto, a 357 mag and a 380 auto. Thats for me. If I am going on a trip I have a few additions that I add.

A Leatherman tool my brother gave me about 15 years ago or a Spyderco (not sure of the model).

The Leatherman tool is so "broke in" that I can flip it around like a butterfly knife. I have a few newer multi-tools but most of them have seen little to no use. Not for any reason other than habit. I had a Gerber that I really liked but broke the pliers and by the time I got a replacement from Gerber I had started carrying the Leatherman.

    Heresy.

I gotta admit, the most useful and handy blade that I carry is a one dollar box opener.

Its disposable should you go to a place like House Of Blues that use wands to heck for metalic stuff.

Its also way handy in a shirt pocket.

It ain't an Emerson, but it ain't awful.

Victorinox "Fisherman" that my best friend transferred to me the day he left for the US Naval Academy. Carried every single day since then (I haven't been on a commercial plane in fifteen years, and back then nobody cared). The handles have been glued back on probably a dozen times, the inlays are gone and the impressions where they were are worn completely away, as is fully half of the main blade. It has, however, been used to skin and dress over a dozen deer and perform one emergency tracheotomy. I keep telling myself it's time for a new one, but I don't like change!
