Jim, I use Winchester X 22lr 40 grain roundnose to 100 meters for silhouettes. Seems the 22s like the heavier 40 grainers a lot.

I bet your head sticks up like an ostrich when you look through the scope, the cheek weld sucks, and this compromise is so you can use the iron sights for 1 shot in 500?
Nice looking rifle, though. Hope it does well for you. Will be looking at any further reports, as I've wondered about this model myself.
