A Co-worker just bought a #1 450-.400.
I know diddly about the round, he's been shooting jacketed factory ammo but is an experienced caster and handloader.
He doesn't get on the internet but wanted a suggestion as to what a good mold for the rifle might be. I had no clue.
He's wanting something in the 400 grain range, gas checked, with a pointy profile as he enjoys shooting iron sighted rifles way on out there.
Anybody have any suggestions?
I'd contact Tom at accuratemolds.com . He did a wonderful job for me and a buddy for some big slugs. 600 NE and 12 bore. Fast and inexpensive. If it's not already designed he'll do that too.
