Like Landric, I'd like to have both!! Still in for this one, and hope an original profile bullet will be available at some point. I'd offer to learn the GB rules, but am in the process of moving & it's kicking my tail June weather in April--ugh!

I am new here, I have a Webley mark 4 .38 cal, what is the correct bullet for it.
Thank you,
Greg
grvv,
See posts 31 or 35 to this thread, and welcome aboard.
This mould will work perfectly in your Webley. It might not be exactly the correct profile, but it is designed with an OAL that will work when seated in the crimp grove in .38 S&W brass.
We might be putting together a buy for a 200 grain with the profile in LouisianaMan's posts, but that has not happened as of yet.

PM sent with request for 4 cavity mold
Hello everyone,
I would like to express my interest in a mold for the original .380 MK.I as in Louisiana Man's post, should that ever happen.
Also, thank you Landric for your work in putting together these group buys.
I've changed my email and may have missed messages, so I'm checking on the group buy. I asked for a double cavity PB mold back in March, and that's still what I want. How do you go about collecting money?
I'm still in for the 200 gn webley bullet mold too. Is this coming together anytime soon ?.
If any one has a sample of the 200Gr with the
profile in LouisianaMan's posts, I will put up a drawing
and run a interest thread.
With 33 orders I think it is a little late to change this one.

PM's replied to, again sorry for my slow response, still very busy around here.
LousaianaMan, any chance you have a line on some original boolits for Al?

Hi Al,
I can pull a bullet from a vintage Winchester factory load & send it to you. As far as I can tell, it's about the same as the Brit original. Just email me at danamangham@hotmail.com with your address & I'll get it in the mail.
Sorry for late response--still moving in & finishing up the semester in JROTC!
If this is still open please add me in for an aluminum, single cavity PB.
I am located in Australia and have sent postal/contact details via PM.
Thanks,
Bruce

I have always liked blunt nosed boolits with bore riding noses. The LouisianaMan original MKI 38/200 is one - but the current GB spec in HP form (but using the Flat Point pins instead of HP pins) also looks good. It is also slightly shorter for those that are worried about length. I would be happy with either - but would prefer a sooner than later delivery. And I might not survive the ire of my good lady if I ordered both...!
All,
Have been tardy getting the vintage/original 200g bullets to Al at NOE, but am off work tomorrow so I finally will get that done. Am pulling the bullets on an original .38 SPL Super Police 200g blunt nose cartridge, and also on a .38 S&W 200g LRN.
According to some sources, the latter is a duplicate of the original British .38-200 load, including the bullet profile. That's why I'm sending them to Al--for analysis & a possible future GB. BTW, I've chrono'ed this load, and you all may be amused to hear that the .38 S&W load was faster than the .38 SPL!!! OK, OK, it was a 5" Victory that chrono'ed at 611.7 for six shots and a 4" Mod. 10 that chrono'ed 591.5 for six shots. A 2" Mod. 37 chrono'ed the .38 SPL Super Police at about 580. Real screamers, eh? Gotta love all heavyweight .38s, no doubt about it!!
Depending on when we get a blunt nose 200 grain buy going, I might be OK running it as well. I've got two buys getting ready to go to production. Note to self, four buys at one time is a bit much, at least for me.
