    7.62x39 ????

Anyone able to predict if this bullet would perform well in a CZ-527 carbine 7.62 X39 with a .313 groove diameter?

    Gas checked?
    Plain base?
    Hollow pointed?

Any chance this can be done in .316 now or in the future? Is anyone else interested?

I bought one on the first group buy knowing it would be a little small. It cast exactly on spec at 0.314" so I lapped it a bit and it works pretty well in my .303 (0.315" throat). I am still working up loads but it is showing promise. So far it seems to like the faster powders and moderate loads.

I wanted a light boolit and there just aren't many around for .303 so I went with this one. No regrets and the mould is beautiful and casts perfectly.

Not keen to lap mine as I want this boolit in both 314 and 316.

    I've got a hungry Mosin Nagant and a N0 4 Mk 1 to feed.

I guess it would be possible to run a .316, but we would likely need a number of buyers for NOE to run both .314 and .316. Perhaps a future buy in .316 is the answer.

I had forgot about this one. Money's tight right now, could I get my mould changed to a different configuration? A double cavity with no hollw pointed cavity would be much easier on the old billfold right now.

My question as well ! Would sizing this boolit to .310 be too much reduction?
