    Hey...how fast are you guys pushing the PB version of this little guy? Do you think that 1200 FPS is too quick? All of this assumes proper fit, lube etc...

    I don't have my notes, but I to say around 1.640" for a CZ-527. Just covers the lube groove.

    For a starting point, I shot 10 rounds (22 Hornet CZ 527 1:16 twist) yesterday at 100 yds. Est. velocity ~1400 FPS. Overall group was about 5" with 4 shots touching. Bullets were unsized WQ PB/WW (50/50) unsorted for weight and hand lubed with JPW. No leading.

    In my opinion, 1200 FPS isn't too quick, but it may not be enough to stabilize. Lots of variables!

    What are going to shoot it in?

    I've got the heavy barrel Ruger (1:14 I believe) I shot a few (hand lubed with 45-45-10) of the PB jobs over half a grain of Tightgroup. Very mild report (quieter than a .22 subsonic) and a loud crack when it blew through the 2x6 I was aiming at. No leading...no idea of velocity save it was definately subsonic. I am looking for two loadings with this boolit: one subsonic and the other quite a bit quicker hence my question about how fast people have driven it.

    My load was 3.0 grs of TrailBoss. Let us know how your quicker loads go.
