Forum: Factory & Surplus Powder
People are starting to make their own powders, if this supply nonsense doesn't get resolved in a reasonable time, the dealers might find that the market adapted to them playing favoritism with uncle...

Wars usually rage on for a decade, so don't count on seeing any unique powder any time soon. Stolen elections have consequences.

I have one that uses explosions to remove primers.
Hopefully the world stops giving weapons and ammunition to the welfare state ukraine soon, so we can finally buy powders like H4198 again. 3 years now, maybe 3 more or a decade, this is just...
If you want one that advances on it's own, then it's Lee.

It is, but it deletes the charge arm with a aluminum wheel. Nice for tight areas on top of a press, someone should make an stl for that to function with the universal die.
Here is what I am...

I'm not sure the plastic part of the die will take the stresses. I doubt anyone has tried this process yet.
Unrelated, I had a plan to marry a Lee PPM, the universal die and a smartreloader SR400...

Just to be clear, you are thinking about replacing a powder drop expander from NOE, in the place of 1 of the 3 brass ones in the universal die for the PPM?

They do flare, you get to pick how mich by the insert you pick. They would work in Lee's long and short die, might need spacers. I could check on the universal die later. They are just like Lee...
One with a sweeping frequency range of operation would be best.

I tried both of these funnels against a 5.45mm case, you can see the neck of the case passes above the narrowest point on the Lee funnel. The MIT funnel on the other hand, the neck rest just below...

Here is a pic, you can barely see the difference in the orifice size, this will be nice for small boolits like 5.45x39mm.
I think Lee or one of their contractors who makes thier funnels is is...

The funnel came early. It looks exactly like a Lee funnel, but this one is marked 17-45 cal instead of Lee's 22-45 cal. I think I'll like it.

The mysterious Purple funnel is on the way, it should be here Monday.

I've known two people who have had giardia, both times it laid them out for about a week.
I believe I've seen liquid fabric softener used before.
I wish Lee would just make a reasonable shot dropper already.

Try switching up the power supplies, they each require different voltages.
