The .35 should shoot flatter than the 38-55.
Heck, my 44-40 shoots flatter than my 38-55.
But I like all three cartridges.

I think that the CB's are running out of poof at 40 yards. My deaf self could hear the bullets impact the cardboard.[emoji16]

I cast some Lee 105 SWC, some C309170F, and some 309 230 gr bullets.
And I answered a "What if" question by reloading and test firing two 2-1/2" .410 shells featuring FFFFG and 7-1/2 shot.
They'll...

Burn rate charts and data for another cartridge with similar case capacity and bullet weight are tools I use for such enterprise.

For me, H110/W296 makes the .30 Carbine, .300BO, and .41 magnum be "all they can be"- perfectly. No problems using it for what it is.

I got the oven cleaner tip from a guy at a gun show years ago. His milsurp rifles were always the cleanest ones. It removes cosmoline better and safer than the old paintbrush and gasoline method!

Oven cleaner is great for removing years of Wisconsin dirt from the stock. The buttplate screws required some oomph to remove-they are so rotten that they're getting tossed.

Long ago I was given a carton of 500 Lazer Cast 170 gr FN bullets. At .307”- they leaded my 94 up quickly. I melted and recast the last 400 into Lee C309150F, sized .309” and tumble lubed.

In an AR15, seat to magazine length. If they won't chamber, try seating a little deeper. I hate it when ejecting an unfired round pulls the bullet out and spills powder into the action.
