I'll be testing this out in 300 BO soon. Got a new NOE mold that drops 2 GC and 2 PB of the same bullet (129gr PT). Should be able to push them I'd think to at least 2200 FPS. Will find out if PBs...

I'd imagine PCing larger parts works a bit different than our bullets. Keep in mind the reason our food cooks evenly even in regular ovens most of the time is that the dish we put in acts as a...

You might be on to something here. Either take some of that Styrofoam and break it down small and add to the powder and maybe BB mix. It should impart quite a good bit of static into the mix really...

I know a few people will leave their bullets in for 1 hour at 400 (sometimes when curing, sometimes after) and then water quench afterwards to get a harder alloy. Also I know that the PC itself is...

Ya I'd imagine we are not building near as much potential static with the tumble methods as you are with an ES gun. Some powders take a static charge easily and some others just have too much...

Ya I think the tumbler method is only good for copper BBs the way Ebner is doing it. I think these two systems while looking remarkably similar work of different principles. The airsoft BBs seem to...

Just googled converting an oven. Seems a few people have thought of doing so but found nobody that had actually gone through with it. Someone suggested getting the parts list for a convection oven...

Thought I saw one report of 3" at 100 on 300blktalk, perhaps I was mistaken since I was trolling those threads half asleep last night, my bad. Regardless I think he was trying to imply that the...

If you were trying to suggest the bullet wouldn't be stable with the amount of bearing surface it has, a few people have gotten to shoot bullets from this mold in the last 2 days and all have...

Ohhh wow I musta moved outa AZ right before that happened. I was living up in Marble Canyon for a while (between Glen and Grand canyons) and we had a cloud wall roll down from the north rim that...

Hmmm well I can't go much heavier otherwise I drop down below the 1800+ fps (with regards to the 312-155) the OP is looking for. Also not sure if a Loverin design would even feed well in a 300BO AR,...

Thought I posted this the other day but I thought I'd give an update. Ended up getting to shoot about 50 of my Lee 312-155s (out of 300 blackout over 14.5gr Lil Gun) the other day at 100yds. ...

It really is that easy. Maybe you can use your lubersizer to lube other things [smilie=1:

Too bad I just cast and coated almost all of what I have ingotized so far. If I want to try this out I'm going to have to bust out the fish fryer again and make me up some more ingots.

I don't think it's even necessary now if you are using this method. The BBs must be made out of a plastic imparting enough static into the bullets as well as just plain beating it onto the lead.

When using an inherently accurate load I can usually call 90% of my fliers but I'll still count then towards (or rather against) my precision. If I'm simply seeing what the gun is capable of I'll...

Not to mention they will perform well and get great expansion/penetration even at lower velocities. Then you get to sub velocities and you just put deep hollow points and things still perform great.

There are quite a few people that are getting good enough accuracy for hunting though, especially with 300blackout PC both subs and supers. Need more testing but I think I've found my ideal super...

Sassy pink is the one I got. My roommate loves the color and I'm going to teach her how to reload here soon and have her load up her bullets (under my supervision of course).

Very interesting process you have going there. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical but it looks good. Have you fired them off yet to see if they lead or not? I might just try this myself with my more...

Never said it was anything but anecdotal at this point. Just thought I would post some preliminary possibly good results. Need to get around to loading up my latest batch of bullets (which I tried...

Interesting advice good sir. I will try 15 then 20 minutes the next time I bake some of this color up.

Pretty sure I had temps right as I had just done a 10 min check with a thermo right before throwing this batch in to get my temps dialed. I actually lucked out with my $13 Goodwill convection oven,...
