I always heard that fluting a barrel is just a way to remove money from your pocket.

Mine is an Ithaca single shot .22. Traded a Czech break open .177 pellet rifle for it when I was in High School.

I anneal 6.5 CM and trim it after 3 firings. Case life is about 20 shots before the primer becomes too easily inserted. I only neck size after one initial full length sizing.
C&S still in business. Did a great job of replacing the cam bar in my Browning Hi-Power.
I just lost the set screw out of my Lyman 356402 mould made in 9/15. Is it a 8/36?
Thanks for the assistance?

I remember an article in The American Rifleman about casting bullets out of zinc. Seems like it was in the 60's. I need to look in an old NRA reloading manual which I think has it.

It is a shame that paper targets have no nutritional value. If they did I wouldn't have to buy any groceries.

What has been your experience with this caliber and casting?

I watched a video of a SPP being cleaned up for use (https://exhaustnotes.us/blog/index.php/2020/10/17/the-star-powder-dispenser/) which was quite interesting. Does anyone use one of these presses...

I use it in 44 Magnum. Loaded 8.5 grains of Unique behind a 429431 Lyman bullet then ran out of Unique and replaced it with 9.5 grains of BR-5. Can't tell any difference in the loads. Have not used...
I will second the Lyman 356402. Load about 13,000 rounds with it.

I have loaded ~5,000 Lyman 429421 and found them to provide everything I need in my 29-2. I size and lube them to .429 in my RCBS LAM. For lube I use LBT Soft Blue. I have an RCBS Keith style gas...

Who is the manufacturer of BR-5?
I have used it in .44 Magnum and 9MM Luger with good results. It does meter very well.

The bridge net is second only to your rod. Don't want to catch something and can't get it up to you.

That is a great book! His discussion of the M-14 and the AR-15 is especially interesting. His other books including Washington's Spies are well worth a read.

I use a technique no one has mentioned. Fill the Lyman 55 up more than half and then tap on the plastic tube with a wrench, brush or something like that. This settles the powder down to a uniform...

I sent my 60+ year old Sheridan to Michael's Lock Stock and Barrel and he did a great job. I believe he repairs Benjamins also. He has a web site you can check out.

I want to cast 20 caliber pellets for my Sheridan Blue Streak. Does anyone make a mould its pellets?

It was $150/six pounds and it has sold out. Been available for months, now no more.
In my P210 TGT I have fired about 3,000 Lyman 356402 through it. No feeding problems at all.
