I have a 1978 Marlin 1894C .357 Mag Carbine. I had trouble finding an accurate cast load as the gun is finicky with cast bullets. My goal was a load that would hit a 2.5” wide object at 150 yards...

No Sir--I do clean my brass first before resizing.

I use a lot of nickel plated brass in the .38 Spl/.357 Magnum. I found it best to clean it with walnut/iron oxide and place a 4" square of used dryer sheet soaked with Charcoal lighter fluid or...

I never have had that happen--the sleeks on the cases I believe are from primer ash residue.

Excellent method. Was the paper loose on the slotted rod, or was it tight?

Even clean brass--even really clean brass will eventualy show sleeks ..again from imbedded primer residue. Of course one can decap & clean the brass first--then resize. I chose not to do it that...

Is anyone polishing their sizing dies? After using awhile steel sizing dies causes resized cartridge cases show small sleeks, even when the brass is thoughly cleaned. I suspect primer powder...

I bought a jug of XLOX and after using a bit it was too thick to pour out of the sealed container. Carfeful use of a Microwave fixed that issue. Place the jug in a ziplock bag --just in case.

No arguement there. I did a test and loaded (seated/crimped) a few hundred .38 Spl w/ 158 Lee SWC-TL. I measured the COL between the first & last, after the Liquid car wax paint treatment--no...

That would work nicely; but most seating stems don't have a weep hole. Yours is probably from Dillon.

For those that are using Lee Tumble Lube bullets with Alox (Not the JPW blend) you may have noticed a build up when loading, on your seating stem. As you load the alox builds up in the seating stem...

Thanks...perhaps a hard lube would work, but it might no be worth the effort. One could argue--what good are TL bullets that you don't TL?

Huskerguy your experience with the .38 Cal TL bullets mirror mine---accurate and dead on in my .38 Caliber pistols. One can size them first--just roll them over a lightly oil lubed pad first. A...

Yes indeed the cylinder throats will size them; as long as the rounds will chamber, you are good to go. Theoretically sizing makes the bullets uniform and that should offer the best accuracy, but in...

Was wondering if anyone has tested accuracy using Lee .38 Cal TL bullets--sized vs unsized. I have used the 148 WC-TL & 158 SWC-TL and found no significant difference. But many shoot them at paper...

I've been shooting comparisons in the .45 Colt w/ a Ruger BHK. 6.5 Titegroup with the Lyman 454190 and then a 452424. I've run this "shoot out" numerus times..seems that the 452424 always shoots...

How can I remove the metal cutter from the Lee wooden ball handle so that I can replace just the steel cutter?

I have a "custom" Lyman 225646 DC cavity bullet mold--one cavity produces HP bullets. I would like to trade for a DC 225415 mold because with my Rem 700 .223 I have been unable to obtain any load...

Have a lightly used Lee TL452-230-2R DC bullet mold (.45 Caliber/230 RN-TL)...would like to trade for a Lee TL452-230-TC DC Bullet Mold. (.45 Caliber/230 TC-TL). I would like to try the 230 grain...
Spray the mold with either Carb Cleaner or Brake Cleaner; let it air dry. I have numerous Lee rifle & pistol molds--never had an issue.
