Thank you guys. Need to add a 32-98-SWC of some make to my small assortment of 32 molds.
It looks like a small nic at the mouth of several cylinders.
Thank you for the additional info. I will check the pin(s).
The revolver was in this condition when I received it. So far it appears the burrs are at the very mouth of the chambers. Not sure...
Thank you guys. I have some more investigation to do in order to figure out exactly were the burr lies.
As noted, the brass is heavily gouged once I get it out of the cylinder.
I purchased a S&W Model 31-1 off the internet and have discovered that 5 of the 6 chambers have burrs. Fired brass is very difficult to extract and comes out with a rather nasty gouge. Fired cases...

A common recommendation is the RCBS 98 gr SWC. Another good one I hear us the Saeco #325.
Thank you Larry. I see that Arsenal Molds offers a clone of the Lyman 313631.
Thank you guys for the advice. I keep hearing the Saeco 325 mentioned in everything from light loads in the 32 S&W Long to stout loads in the 32 H&R in both rifle and revolver and even in 32 ACP...
I am looking for advice on molds that will function through the action of a Marlin 1894 CB in 32 H&R Magnum. I currently own an MP 315-640 which cast HP bullets at 118gr and solids at 123gr. I would...

Green Frog- The MP 314-640 is not my first or only mold. I have a couple MP molds, a few Lyman, RCBS, and one Lee. Both my MP molds are brass and they truly are a fine piece of gear.
Owning an MP 314-640 mold which gives me 115-123 gr bullets and I would like to buy a mold in the 90-100 gr range. Which mold is your favorite for use in a 32 S&W Long? My revolver is a S&W 31-1...
Excited for the 31-1 to arrive and to get some loads worked up.
I have a S&W 31-1 inbound and am looking for two loads with a 98gr DEWC - a mild load say 700-750fps and a more robust load that offers about 900fps (if such is safely possible).
The loads I have...
ABJ - Thank you for the bullet recommendation. Do you use a 2-cavity or a 6-cavity mold? I have read so many poor reviews of the Lee 2-cavity molds that I am hesitant to buy one. However, I ladle...
Thank you guys. I will be trimming for uniform length and will do both deburring flash holes and uniform primer pockets for the benefits and it is a good way so spend a winter day (its snowing and...
In the search for ultimate accuracy from your S&W Model 14 or other target handgun what prep do you do to your brass - trim for uniform length? - uniform primer pockets? - deburr flash holes? - other?
