Found this in the bottom of a box of parts I picked up. Looks like PVC pipe with lead base, 3 1/8" tall x 1 5/8" OD x 1 3/8" ID. Not familiar with it, anyone know what it is?

Here's a small tin of Pacific scale weights that I came across. Unsure of the time frame these were made. I don't think they were part of the Pacific scale package, possibly an item you ordered...

Was this a designated pistol powder measure or could you get different rotors and use it for pistol & rifle? Also what model was this in the Pacific lineup or were they just known as a powder measure?

I got the rotor cleaned up, looks like the markings were filed off.

Just tapped out the rotor and it's blank, no markings on either end. It's made of steel as is the reservoir as a magnet
sticks to both. So I take it that this dates to the 1940s?

Since pressman just posted on this, I'll just keep the thread here. Many thanks for the info. BTW how are the shell holders marked?

Just don't try dealing off the bottom of deck when using the playing card stock, you may not get your desired results.

It's amazing the number of old muzzleloaders that are still found loaded having been passed down thru several generations.

I used a rawhide mallet but lost it during a move, I now use a 1" diameter x 12" long piece of Derlin.

Funny you should mention the Herter presses, my friend has a Super No 3 that he got at an estate sale. I was checking it over and picked it up and handle dropped and the ram barely missed my hand but...

I too find the scoops to be quicker to load (black powder) as I usually load about 50 at a time. The homemade scoop is great as Mk42 suggested when you need a scoop that the Lee dippers don't cover.
