Yes the problem with alu checks.
You need to do it twice thru the lubasizer.
First a "dry run" to make what ever amount you want, then lube.
The problem is that alu is to soft to let the grease...

I did not see any difference in the barrel and end result regarding copper or brass.
Alu is cheaper, easier on my tools and preforms the same.

Bought my first mold from rcbs when i was 10-11 158gr semi wadcutter, bought a second handed one, you can not eben buy 10 bullits for that price anymore.....(yes i understand economics.)....
I think if you would dip the mold into that bucket, it will cool off the outside to quick, witch will give only more stress to the steel.
