Probably just the alloy is your weight differance , I wouldn't worry bout it though .

As long as the as cast size is good for your pistol I would lube and shoot them .

Good thing we usually don't have to weld on our molds often . :)

But welding of any kind has safty things that should be done everytime you weld .

Have you cast any from your mould yet ? If so , what do they mic at ? I would use any of the tumble lube boolits that mic .357 to .360 and see how they do . Might need a sizer to crimp on gas checks...

For an athentic looking scope for the late 1800's the Wm. Malcolm is the cheapest out there . Does your barrel have a dovetail for a front site ? If not you may be limited to the short scope .
