I do use tge same recipe in my HF ultrasonic cleaner. Decap first and they come out nice and clean but not as shiny.

What Adam said but the caveat is having a woodlot or free wood available. I am here at 1700’ in Central NYS and have 120 acres of which 75% is wooded. An endless supply to heat my home and 36’x48’...

One of my first shade tree smithing project was making a full stock mannlicher-type carbine out of a 7mm ‘93. Went down the road years ago but was fun to build and shoot.

Your help is admirable, but with the friend worrying about getting every penny I fear your job will be frustrating. Liquidation sales very seldom bring back top dollar.

Had the right side done in 2013 and left in 2018 . Shot a buck with my bow 20 days after in 2013. Used mesh back then but not in 2018. Ditto on stool softeners and drinking plenty of fluids after....

Sounds like a very versatile rifle.

Can’t go wrong with either the Marlin or Winchester. Biggest difference is probably scope mounting.

Same here Wilco. Frozen vegetables, sautéed venison or chicken and sliced fresh onions. Rice from the rice cooker, soy sauce and cashews.
