So, a thermocouple problem which lead to a PID problem.

That makes sense, as copper can be used in a similar manner. I have wondered if success with using pewter as a tin source might not have some relation to the small percentage of copper in some pewter...

It also depends on how much wheat flour is in the recipe. I prefer little to no wheat flour and more corn meal, a little course is ok with me.

Chevy Malibu fwd. I was advised to replace both when one went because the other probably would go soon.

Some have relieved the top edge of the blocks to aid venting. I believe this has been recommended for Al molds, I do not know if this has been tried with iron molds.

I like them steamed, with butter and vinegar. I don't think I was ever exposed to them as a kid.

I suggest you investigate "The Load", a concept of using small amounts of fast powder for light rifle loads. It might put your mind at rest.

My last GW find was a heavy pewter mug, just shy of a lb., for $3 plus. My veteran discount brought it to $2 and change.
